Aidly Care Inc.®

AidlyCare began with a clear goal: build an AI companion that makes Canadian healthcare navigation feel calmer, clearer, and more human, starting with seniors and caregivers. Instead of chasing hype, we grounded every decision in lived experience, community research, and a working prototype built for trust, dignity, and real-world use.

AidlyCare: AI Companion for Canadian Healthcare Navigation

Approach - Designed the experience end-to-end: mapped the UX flow and designed the Orb interface to create a calm, emotionally safe user interaction model. - Built the working prototype: developed AidlyCare in Replit using React, TypeScript, and CSS, including the prompt structure and companion behaviours. - Implemented the AI and automation stack: integrated Cohere and n8n to support companion responses, structured routing, and system logic. - Owned all brand and communication: wrote the website and social content, created founder narrative messaging, and built the marketing strategy. - Grounded product decisions in lived experience: created and distributed a community survey, conducted outreach and engagement, logged responses, analyzed findings, and delivered a formal report back to Waterfront Community Centre to support community needs and advocacy. Results Research and community traction - Collected 59 participants total (47 seniors, 12 caregivers) at Waterfront Community Centre, Ontario. Languages included English (51) and Mandarin-assisted (8). - Found that 60% of participants had a family doctor, yet 41% still rated healthcare navigation as difficult. - Identified delayed care as a major outcome: 40% reported delaying care because the system felt too hard to navigate. - Surfaced equity and trust gaps: only 38% felt the system always respected their culture or language, while 36% said sometimes. - Documented caregiver escalation risk: 44% of caregivers reported going to the ER because they could not get timely support elsewhere. - Demonstrated adoption readiness when tools are simple and human: 58% of seniors were likely or very likely to use a digital support tool, and 75% of caregivers were very likely. Product outputs delivered - Shipped a defined UX flow and Orb interface concept for an emotionally safe companion experience. - Built a functional prototype in Replit with a modern front-end stack (React, TypeScript, CSS) and companion prompt logic. - Implemented an automation workflow using n8n and integrated AI via Cohere to support structured responses. - Produced public-facing assets: website copy, social content, research survey, marketing strategy, and a community report for a real partner organization.
